District Quick Facts
Arizona Legislative District boundaries are created by the Independent Redistricting Commission every ten years following the census. The current Legislative District (LD) 8, formerly LD 26, boundaries were drawn in 2021 and will be redrawn in 2031. The number of representatives is determined by the number of residents as reported in the U.S. Census. LD 8 lies within Maricopa County and spans Congressional Districts (CD) 1, 3, and 4.
